Blue Zone is part of the fifth edition of the Social Yearbook, a publication that highlights the best social actions carried out by organizations and companies in Mozambique, which was launched yesterday (15/05) in the city of Maputo.
This is the first time we have taken part in the Social Yearbook and we had the opportunity to showcase some of the actions we have carried out as part of our social responsibility.
One of the highlights is the support we have given to Casa do Gaiato, a non-governmental organization that takes in orphaned, vulnerable and abandoned children or those without families, which is located in the district of Boane, Maputo province, with two Grundfos solar submersible pumps, which have helped to improve the water supply.
Another action we share in the Social Yearbook is the support we have given to the Beneficiary Association of Destitute Children of Mozambique (ABEC) since 2018, in carrying out its activities which have already impacted more than 1,000 children.
Blue Zone was present at the launch of the Social Yearbook, represented by Sidsel Lorenzen, the company’s Managing Partner.
