In March this year, Blue Zone, represented by its Electrical Engineer and Commercial Technician, Osvaldo Chiueuane, conducted a technical visit to Sacyr Somague Mozambique, a renowned construction company located in Nacala, Nampula province, at the request of Grundfos. The purpose of Osvaldo’s visit was to assess the installation and start-up of the system, specifically the Grundfos Hydro MPC-F 3xCR45-2-2 pump.
During his visit, Osvaldo checked that the system was installed in accordance with the manual, that all safety precautions were followed, that the pipework and tank were clean, that all electrical cables were correctly connected to the control panel and that the installation was provided with the necessary voltage for power supply and auxiliary utilities.
In addition, the Blue Zone engineer carried out the start-up of the system and provided training for correct use. He also installed the CIM 200 board to enable the system to communicate with the SCADA and watched the integration via Modbus RTU.
For Osvaldo, this trip was a great opportunity to improve his knowledge and understand that Grundfos systems are integrable with other systems.
