On 14 September, Grundfos won the Climate Impact Award at the Sustainability Awards, organised by the Danish Chamber of Commerce and EY. The winner of the Climate Impact Award was selected by an independent jury that assessed eight nominated companies on the basis of a series of criteria. From the eight nominees, three finalists were selected, which were Grundfos, Salling Group and Nykredit.
The Climate Impact Award is a prize given to a company that has particularly ambitious goals and actions in its work on climate change, says Jan C. Olsen, CEO of EY in Denmark: “With the Climate Impact Award, the focus is on companies that are already doing well, but want even more. For example, by introducing new initiatives that can inspire and set new standards. It is therefore about clear impact and the criteria for the award are strict, so solid results must be presented that support the ambitions and objectives. The independent jury considered Grundfos to be a good example of this.”
In turn, the jury chose Grundfos for its solid results and its complete environmental plan. The jury also emphasised Grundfos’ partnerships to find better solutions for more climate-friendly production.
