Grundfos and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) have recently established a new partnership to help people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from health care gain access to clean water in Africa and Asia.
With this partnership, the two organizations will work together to solve the water crisis for people in emergency situations as part of MSF’s ASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) programmes, which aim to save lives, prevent disease, promote dignity and facilitate access to better living conditions.
This three-year partnership, which came into effect in mid-February 2024, will focus on four areas of collaboration: (1) design support for technical solutions and equipment supply, (2) skills exchange and capacity building services, (3) program delivery and (4) research and development (R&D) services.
Grundfos will support MSF in the design of equipment and solutions related to water, sanitation and hygiene.
The two parties will explore partnership opportunities in MSF-led emergency response operations and discuss ways to pre-position systems and equipment suitable for crisis response interventions.
