In May 2023, Blue Zone was invited to visit a large condominium located in the city of Maputo, which was having problems with the pumps for lifting the water. After the initial visit, it was found that the pumps would not turn on by themselves and that the tubes were constantly filling with air, which means that they had not been installed correctly. On the other hand, the pumps shared the same inlet pipe and there were an unnecessary number of connections and valves. In addition, the pumps were oversized, i.e. larger than needed for the condominium.
The Blue Zone team concluded that the problem could be easily solved by redoing the installation and with pumps even smaller than those installed. So, they installed two Grundfos CM pumps, which are working perfectly and are extremely quiet.
